As a big supporter of local producers ourselves, we’re really excited about a new Indie Food Festival taking shape for May 2015. It’s a festival organised by a group of super awesome folk who are giving up their free time to put together something which champions all the great things the Leeds indies do for our city.
The festival will be a fortnight of brilliant events all over Leeds including tasting menus, food slams, brewery takeovers, street food, workshops, film screenings and much more. There will also be a festival wristband that gets you access to exclusive products, discounts, exclusive events and priority tickets.
To make it happen they need to raise enough money to pay for advertising, design, printing and all the other bits and bobs. So they’re running a crowd funding campaign which, not only gives you the opportunity to support them and make this a reality, but get some great goodies (tote-bags, screen printed posters, tea towels, etc.) plus tickets to exclusive events and meals.
